Back in October last year, we presented the paper “New Pathways to Future Grid Compliance for Wind Power Plants” in the 21st Wind & Solar Integration Workshop, Netherlands.
The paper was selected among the best papers of the conference and shall be now published in the special edition of IET journal. You can check an initial version of it in the following link (https://zenodo.org/record/7414067#.ZA9owXbMJPY, available at our InnoCyPES Zenodo community.
The paper presents an overall framework ranging for future grid compliance and verification of wind power plants ranging from Component & Subsystem testing, Software/Hardware-in-the-loop (SiL/HiL), Data-driven methodologies, Digital Twins, and etc.
As we learned from the many discussions in the Workshop. In times of ambitious net-zero targets, it is more important than ever to look for different innovative alternatives and standardization to ensure safer and cost-effective grid integration of Wind Power Plants.”
